Unlocking the Secrets of Secure Parenting

Embarking on the journey of understanding the Circle of Security provides a transformative perspective on parenting. Here are three key takeaways for participants:

  • The Power of a Safe Haven:

Recognizing that every child, when distressed or unsettled, seeks comfort allows caregivers to become the consistent source of security and safety.

  • Fostering Exploration with a Secure Base:

Children thrive when they feel the freedom to explore their surroundings, knowing they have a secure base to return to.

  • Tuning into Emotional Needs:

The Circle of Security framework emphasizes the importance of caregivers understanding and responding to their child's emotional cues.
